Gourd flower

I have planted some gourds in farm for the first time this year and I was surprised by its flower, I have never seen one.

The gourd is a hard-shelled fruit generally used as a decorative object or in handicrafts. I often paint it and that was the main reason to plant my owns gourds. It has a wide variety of shapes: spherical, elongated like a bottle, oval or even flat and that is why is so versatile to paint and decorate.
