It seems that these are not a very good days for South African cricket. Their performance in ICC World Cup 2019 was not up to the mark. They finished the world cup on 8th spot.
A couple of days ago, their prime fast bowler Dale Stayn announced his retirement from test cricket and today their best batsman Hashim Amla announces his retirement from International cricket.
Hashim Amla is one of the finest batsman of the world. He is the only triple Centurion in test cricket for South Africa..He played 346 matches for South Africa, making 18,553 runs with 55 hundreds and 87 fifties across the three formats for his country.

Indeed he is a true legend.
I am sure they will miss him, but I guess there will always be fresh blood waiting to take his place.
SA is still unable to find ABD’s replacement. It will be difficult for them to find both of their star batsmen replacement.
I am lost with the sport, enjoy!
