God's own country

Kerala known as God’s own country has much to offer tourists  The main highlight are the back waters which is a placid flow of water coming from a river. Kerala is also known as the city of canals and Venice of the East. 

There are houseboats that one can hire and spend time on the back waters.  Kerala is also known for its greenery and when it comes to literacy it is one hundred percent. 

The matriarchal society that it is could be one reason that Kerala boasts of all that it is proud of.  One must not return without tasting banana chips which is a speciality of Kerala.
