Giving thanks for the blessings

Whatever the religion, it is right to give thanks for all the blessings that we receive. It is not only the old folks who do that now but even the children. Maybe it is the positive effect of the digital technology that children are learning at an earlier age. Give thanks for whatever we receive, our grade school teacher used to say that.

My philosophy in life is to enjoy life since it is given to us not for anything else. Some say that we need to do sacrifices like praying for hours. But for me, even a 1 minute prayer will suffice as long as it is sincere. As they say, anything that comes from the heart is pure. Gratitude is therefore pure to be effective.
