Everything we knew about the Kentucky Derby 2019 took a twist. Omaha Beach had to scratch because of illness. This horse was the favorite. It gets a little sticky. Mike Smith, was to be the jockey on the horse. He had to choose between a Baffert horse, Roadster and Omaha Beach. Now it looks like Baffert might run his horse, will he offer the ride to Mike Smith or did he miss he chance?
The good news is that they believe Omaha Beach will recover completely. Still it changed everything.
We probably won’t know until later this week what will be done, but it is an interesting twist.
We definately have to set up a new trifecta choice!

I remember I chose Omaha Beach when you asked for the trifecta.
I didn’t know it was the favorite, and I’m sorry it’s sick and unable to run for the Kentucky Derby. Yes, it’s great they care more about the health of the horse.
It was a wise thing to do, better safe than sorry. ?
While I’m hoping Omaha Beach will recover well and soon, I might replace with the one I missed before, the Gray Magician. ?
Yes they should take care of the horses.
