I really cannot explain the reason why some fruits have been vanishing in the market. First on my list is the cashew fruit that I used to buy when I was a boy. It has been gone for several decades already. Next is the cotton fruit called Santol here and then the Duhat which is what I was holding in the picture. There are some more and many to mention.
One friend said that we have been deluged with imported fruits so the people tend to change their taste for fruits. It makes sense because apples and seedless grapes are always in the market. Admittedly they are wonderful fruits than our local fruits.

I do not have the opportunity of buying fruit anywhere so I use canned fruit
I do notice that some places I can find lemons and other places I cannot. I also notice right now I cannot find celery anywhere.
