My eldest son was born in February 26. There was once two days after his birthday, I found out it’s also Tell a Fairy Tale Day. My son likes to listen to fairy tales, so I always thought it’s good to have some activities to celebrate his birthday and this Tell a Fairy Tale Day. Perhaps it’s good to tell him many fairy tales.
But I always forgot about this day for years. I am glad I came across a blog that wrote about this Tell a Fairy Tale Day just now. So I asked my son to pick a fairy tale he would like me to tell him tomorrow. Since my youngest was born, I haven’t been telling my kids stories everyday. I think it’s good to re-build this habit even though my eldest can read on his own.

I read with my children almost every day, most of the stories are fairy tales.
My boys are grown up but I used to tell them so many fairy tales when they were younger. Incidentally This weekend when I met my son he quoted a fairy tale I used to tell him.
It is something I enjoyed most with my kids. Have fun with yours.
