Fading Colors Of Winter

Poinsettias being winter plants are slowly fading out. It is sad to see these plants losing their brilliant color and look so jaded. This is the way of nature and we need to accept it. I will be hard pruning these plants in a couple of days which also means that they will grow new stems and look much more bushier and lovely next year. It means pain, but beyond the pain is new life.

Sometimes we need to change the way we do things , some practices last long but others may become redundant rituals when they have outlived their usefulness.

I have been trying to change the way I write, the way I plan for sometime now.  Changes not only make you acutely aware of what you do or have been doing in the past but it helps you live in the present.

Somethings need to fade out as changes take place around us. We cannot hang on to things in the past and try to live in the present fully. Thankfully we have a memory that fade out a lot of details from past events. Trying to relive old memories cause the brain to add  special effects to them. Memories seem rosier now than how they really happened.

Making new memories every moment happy and worth living.

  1. we have to find the balance. it is ok to remember negative things but we have to let them pass through us.

i often recall those things, I have been working for years to just let them pass through.
    (sometimes they stay)
