After a rather disappointing time spent in London – being a week end most what we wanted to experience was closed – this train ride by Eurostar that ran through the English Channel Tunnel was a rare experience
The section under the sea of the Channel Tunnel is the longest in the world. It is dug around 40 M below the sea bed. There are actually 3 tunnels – 50 km long
We took this train in London and our destination was Brussels. The travel was no different from any other train travel but the thought that we were under water made it special.

No

that is one of the train journeys I would like to try. Great photo of the Eurostar.
I was hoping to hear the sound of water but since the tunnel is under the sea bed there was no such thing.
