The second leg of the semifinals of the English Championship Promotion Playoffs will be played on back-to-back days. Let’s take a look at the schedule.
Wednesday July 29: Swansea City at Brentford – 2:45 PM EST (ESPN+).
Thursday July 30: Cardiff City at Fulham – 2:45 PM EST (ESPN+).
In the first leg, Swansea City did what they were supposed to do at home and secured a 1-0 victory over Brentford. Brentford will now have to win by two goals in order to advance to the final. However, Brentford has the firepower to come back since they scored the most goals (80) during the regular season.
Fulham gained the upper hand on the road in their 2-0 shutout over Cardiff City in the first leg. For Cardiff City, the task is a little bit tougher because they have to score three or more goals and win the match by two goals in order to advance to the final.

That’s the final I want to see as well.
we shall see fingers and toes crossed.
So far, we were both wrong on the first one – Brentford won 3-1 to advance. We should get the Fulham one right though tomorrow
oh well, still up 8 down 4 now.
Fulham lost 2-1, but they advanced so that sort of counts as a win.
