It’s our drop and dash day! We do it every year come what may. Today it’s a blizzard, but not to worry. It’s the day when we take the food boxes out and leave them on the doorsteps. It is something we do every year and we love it. The goal is to never get caught and we go to great lengths to make certain that they would be hard-pressed to know who did it.
We go in full costume. (I am the Grinch this year!) We rent two vehicles, so no one knows cars. There is no writing on the box.
We don’t discriminate! Everyone gets a box no matter their circumstances. This year in our little community that is 302 boxes. We are careful to make sure they are things the family or person can use and we wrap every item in the box. We always get one as well and I don’t leave it – not really sure which of my family members does or perhaps it’s a neighbor who has somehow busted us.
At any rate, even Bro is going with us all bundled up and ill. It’s going to be a great day.

we have done drop and dash many times! My favorite tradition that we do as well is sharing cookies with our neighbors.
they make them
we make them
then we take them to each others houses!
It’s a swap that makes everyone happy.
yes it is, we also do a party with friends and have a white elephant exchange.
What a wonderful thing to do! I always thought it was cool for others to donate anonymously.
It seems to be a good thing for all involved.
