I decided to post my picture of the dracaena against the skyline for the black and white challenge. These red tipped dracaenas do look stunning in color and can bring a splash of color to any garden.
We have a huge plant right in front of our home. It has been there for many years even before the house was built. The trunks have become huge and jagged like a tree and I find pruning them gives rise to many branches and and a bushier palm like appearance.
Dracaenas also look great as a bonsai, just like the pony tail palm does. However, I haven’t really tried it, maybe it is time I got myself one. I like the contrast offered by the bushes and the shrubs to the straight lines of the dracaena plant.

It is very nicely done Dawn. Less is sometimes more.
Thank you Carol, I somehow liked the simplicity of this picture.
Very nice picture though I prefer it in colors …. but it also has black and white its charm
Dear Lado I know you love color more, but B;lack and white is fun too 🙂
Of course, black and white are also beautiful in their own right, dear Dawn
it looks so stark against the gray sky. Like the opening to a movie that turns sad in the end!
You are right, now that you say so , I see the starkness setting the tone for a gory story 😀
now that you’ve said that it is even creepier!
