Since the elevator is a closed space that is cramped, it is not advisable to take the elevator if you can avoid it. Once a virus carrier rides it would be very probable that he would spread the virus in the air even if he is wearing a face mask. That is the reason why it is not allowed to talk when inside the elevator.
The distancing seems to affect almost all aspects of our life. I cannot imagine a group of friends that would take the elevator and just wait in silence until they reach their desired floor. It is not natural.

It all depends on how my knee is doing that day. I will take the stairs if the knee is working and I am not afraid to get in an elevator. I will die when it’s my time. I have to stop living like covid is the master of my ship.
I actually prefer to take the stairs, every time 🙂
