I did not know anything about Langar Seva a selfless service that has been in existence since 1481 soon after the establishment of Sikhism.
This set up has been serving mankind regardless of cast, religion, ethnicity, financial standing. They serve vegetarian food round the clock. It is free and is known to be tasty in that even rich people go there. Those who work there are volunteers. They cook, they serve and wash the dishes themselves.
Charity pours in and now it is more ever since the pandemic.

That is great that such services are available. I know we have them in the US just don’t know exactly how many and in which states.
The food there I am told is better than served at some 5 star restaurants (lol)
