This is the morning view of University Road Peshawar. From this morning, there have been dark clouds in Peshawar. It looks like the second rains of this winter are ready to rain. Since Peshawar is very close to Swat, the city has a very cold winter here, because the Swat valley receives large amounts of snowfall during winter, and the temperature in this area becomes negative during the winter. Peshawar does not have snowfall but this city is famous for large amount of rains. The cold winds, especially from Kabul and Swat, add to the coldness of the city during the season of winter.

Khayber pass is just a few miles away from Peshawar.
We rarely get snow but do from time to time.
