Some vendors here have a cheating weighing scale that will sell you fruits or vegetables that you pay for 1 kilo according to the scales but it was actually only ¾ of a kilo. It is good that the mayor has a task force to check on the weighing scales of the street vendors. That would give confidence to the public and put back the trust on the vendors.
Some are surprised that weighing scales are used by the vendors to cheat on the buyers. This is usually the case when you buy from the roadside vendors. When you buy, you wouldn’t be coming back there anyway so it is just fine for them to cheat you with the wrong calibration of their weighing scale.
