We have our annual car registration that requires the smoke emission testing. Due to the lockdown when the government agencies were closed, there were 3 months of no registration. That means a backlog of 3 months volume will overwhelm the offices.
Now we are in a long line for the appointment only to the smoke emission testing. After that we bring the car to the transportation agency for the registration. I don’t know how long it will take to be registered.

we have huge facilities and they were no touch long before Covid. Now, you blow through! We have to have our cars checked every three years.
Yes it must be frustrating. I heard on the news today that there is also a backlog of people getting new passports and people having to cancel their holidays.
