Buying fish off the boat

We have a couple of beaches not so far away  A beach outing is often included to break the monotony,  specially when we have guests. 

It was on one such outing that we saw fisherfolk arriving on the beach with their catch.  It was a pleasant sight.  We approached the fisherfolk and asked them if they would sell some fish to us.  Although that is not rudimentary they agreed.  We got fresh fish straight off the boat. It was cheap as well. 

I just could not wait to get back and prepare a fish dish – fresh fish is not always available.
