Buying a car of your own

Having a car of your own in the city is more of a necessity than luxury when the mass transport system is very inefficient. Instead of spending 30 minutes in line for the bus or the train, having your own car would minimize the wasted time in traveling especially from home to work and vice versa. Using the public transport is cheaper but very inconvenient at times especially during the rainy season.

But how much would you spend for the comfort of a car? The price is steep and more likely you will buy at an installment. That is a monthly payment for 5 years maybe. Add to that the cost of the gasoline, the preventive maintenance of the car and accessories, the insurance, the registration, etc. Oh, the list is quite long that some people have forgoteen their dream of owning a car.
