The German Bundesliga has provided you with a treat with mid-week games on Tuesday and Wednesday. From time to time, matches will be played in the middle of the week in order to make up for the games that were postponed during the quarantine.
The first match of the day will definitely decide who will win the Bundesliga. Second-place Borussia Dortmund will be hosting first-place Bayern Munich. Dortmund currently sits four points behind Bayern with seven matches left in the season. If Bayern wins this match, then they will run away with the Bundesliga again this season. Dortmund’s only chance is to win so that they would only be one point behind Bayern.
This marquee match-up will be televised today on Fox Sports 1 (FS1) at 12:30 PM EST. The second half of the doubleheader will be televised on Fox Sports 2 (FS2) at 2:30 PM EST with Bayer Leverkusen hosting VfL Wolfsburg. Leverkusen is rolling right now with midfielder Kai Havertz scoring twice in each of his last two games. This game has implications with European qualifying next season as Leverkusen is in fourth place while Wolfsburg is in sixth place.
Two more matches will also be played at 12:30 PM EST. Eintracht Frankfurt hosts SC Freiburg. Frankfurt needs points because they are now only four points away from the relegation zone. Freiburg could move up to sixth place, the final Europa League qualifying spot, with a win and a Wolfsburg loss. The other match is Werder Bremen hosting Borussia Monchengladbach. Bremen are looking to get out of the relegation zone with their second win in a row, while Monchengladbach will look to bounce back from a loss to remain in fifth place in the standings.
The poll is open. Please participate instead of a being a spectator and watching life pass you by once again.

Werder Bremen and Borussia Monchengladbach play a surprisingly 0-0 draw.
Eintracht Frankfurt and Freiburg ended up being the best match of the day with a 3-3 draw.
Wolfsburg bounces back with a 4-1 road demolishing of Bayer Leverkusen. Bayer has to pay out all of the RoundUp money and they were walloped by Wolfsburg.

Eintracht Frankfurt and SC Freiburg are at a 1-1 tie at halftime.
Wolfsburg is up 1-0 on the road at halftime against Bayer Leverkusen

i picked B,BL,F,B –
the least confidence of all but the last one. Likely to lose the last one but it is a team I’ve seen play recently so I like their game.
Bremen is starting to look like they really want to get out of the relegation zone and are playing great. Leverkusen is the only sure one for me. I took Dortmund, Leverkusen, Freiburg, and Monchengladbach, but Bremen and Monchengladbach is a tossup.
i was nervous about that first pick, now I am more nervous.
Nope, Bayern ended up winning so they will win their eighth Bundesliga in a row. The only reason I wanted Dortmund to win so that it would make the rest of the season interesting. Now, the season is virtually over.
at this point watching good soccer is fun. so i am happy with whatever comes next!
