It is better to buy the cake than try to make it I have tried making the black forest cake but I never got the right texture.
While on my Europe tour we visited the Black Forest area in Germany and I got to taste the black forest cake – the original. It had just the right moisture, the slight bitterness of cocoa, not too sweet and most important of all it was loaded sour cream – I could call it the ‘icing’ on the cake.
I have a sweet tooth and I always look for food that is known for its quality. I am glad I got to taste the original black forest cake.
