Bher fruit

We have this bher fruit tree  just outside our gate. I have kept it alive by regularly watering it.  It does not belong to me but I have taken care of it and the results are showing.

It starts yielding around April.  Passersby and neighbours are seen picking up the fruits that fall to the ground. The fruit is sweet and a bit sticky.

As a kid we used to buy them from a lady who used to sit near the school gate. And I am so glad that I get fresh fruits off the tree now.

This year they were a disappointment as the fruits were infested. This happens due to unseasonal rains.  Hopefully we will get healthy fruits in the next season.
