In our culture, barbecue is a part of the yuletide season. Even the parties before Christmas have the barbecue. The reason is the cooler weather of December although in the later years it is the rain that spoils the barbecue. Nevertheless, barbecue is still the main fare especially when there are drinks to serve like beer.
The most popular barbecue here is the pork in the sticks. Some market vendors sell marinated pork barbecue sticks. All you need after buying is to light up the charcoal and start the roasting. Another favorite is the pork belly that is roasted after marinating in vinegar, salt and garlic. It’s so nice to eat with rice. But for the wealthy, the steak is their favorite and I agree that beef is one good meat to broil.
