All other stores and eateries are closed

It is a phenomenon to see all eateries and convenience stores to be closed all day. Everyone knows that the lockdown has resulted in shutting down all businesses except supermarkets and pharmacy. It is like a standstill in all industries that people have no jobs for a month or so until the lockdown is lifted.

So what happened to the eateries that we are used to go for snacks? And what about the classy restaurants where we dine for a celebration? I miss the nice food, I miss the ambience, I miss all those that are not here now. So it is true that absence makes the heart grow fonder.
