Actions speak louder than words

‘I protest, I do not do this for my own benefit , I am working towards collective goals. I am not being selfish, I am looking out for everyone.’  – Maybe we do believe that we are not all selfish and our motives are noble , but our actions cries out from the roofs tops about exactly what our intentions were in the first place.

Me thinks the lady doth protest too much ” – to quote Shakespeare.

Often when we protest too much we let others take a peek into our inner selves , the part we really don’t see too clearly.

The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure.Who can understand it? Jeremiah 17:9  Sadly as the Bible says we are sometimes unaware of the ways in which our mind works.

Our actions do speak louder than our words, in fact they leave trails that lead right up to the actual intent of the heart, for others to see as clear as day.

We need to know ourselves, we need to know why we act in ways that even surprises us at times. We often sit on the judgement seat and talk about the intents of others,  in words wise beyond our years and yet we can barely understand ourselves.

Back to the basics, let’s get acquainted with our selves, get to know our selves better before we get up on that lofty throne of Judgement.

  1. Well said Doc, I had decided to write on topics like these but I see that the response is really poor maybe also because these posts have taken forever to be approved and I just gave up on writing here.

  2. wow, you are really the tough topic writer today!

Actions do speak louder than words. I find that so true. It seems sometimes people forget that what they do impacts.

We all live in the oral world, of what we say. What we say matters, but what we do carries it home!
