They are known here more as tiger tails but sadly not many have them in their gardens They are common and because of the craze for planting only the exotic not many choose them.
But I am different. I have a place for everything that grows easily and that which needs little care or attention.
What we need is greenery and colour and the plants I have provide all that. What I have attracts birds as well.
In a quest for the exotic I have known gardeners neglecting their gardens as little do they know it is the ordinary that can make their gardens look extraordinary.

This is a very different type of plant/flower. Very pretty. Unfortunately, living in Canada, I do not believe it would grow that well. Anyway I do not have the green thumb at all…. It still remains that this plant is beautiful…
Thank you. There is nothing like green fingers. It is the interest and involvement is all that is required.
Interesting flower, dear friend … I haven’t seen it yet
Where it is not seen it will be available at high cost (lol)
I embrace mostly what I have room for in the garden.
What is required these days is greenery to breathe clean air.
I don’t shun anything. At least not that I recall.
Being a gardener myself I have met those who never respect that which provides greenery and colour if it is common
when I was a kid I used to play with this, put it behind my shorts like a tail and put it with my clip as if a hair extension.
That was a cute way of making use of this flower. Did you have it in your garden?
we don’t have it in our garden, it’s in my uncle’s yard
