For the last couple of years in the soccer world there is a fair-play rule that clubs can not spend more than they have earned by sponsorship deals, ticket and players sales. AC Milan has violated this rule and according to the rules it should be thrown out of all European football tournaments. Still after the appeals, AC Milan still has the right to appear in Europe. The justification is: “the sentence was too high” which caused the disapproval of other football clubs.
