A new arrival

I normally identify birds with their chirps and I did hear a new kind of chirp.  There it was a black and white bird slightly larger than what we call the Dhobi bird. It had a pretty loud chirp and had come alone.

It was happy swimming in the bird bath  and then preening its feathers perched on our Chinese Hats bush. I used the zoom feature and clicked it standing inside the house at the entrance.

Due to Covid-19 there is a change in the environment around with no one roaming the streets and this could be the reason that new birds are seen around here.

    • It was there even when I shared my post. But when I wrote another post that image appeared here which does not suit this post and that post did not have the image. I have asked Admin to delete both these posts so that I can re write them. Some glitch somewhere.
