Group D is one of the most difficult groups in this season’s UEFA Champions League Group Stage. At the top of the group are Juventus and Atletico Madrid, two teams that have made the necessary moves in the summer in order to give them a chance to win the whole thing. There is also extra intrigue between these two clubs because Atletico Madrid knocked Juventus out of the Champions League last season. Also, Bayer Leverkusen is back in the Champions League with a club that is capable of pulling off an upset or two. Plus, playing Lokomotiv Moscow at home in Russia is always an adventure.

Juventus looks good again. I also did the article wrong because Juventus came back to defeat Atletico Madrid in the second leg last season.
