The Bad Boy Mowers Gasparilla Bowl will be played between the University of Central Florida (UCF) Knights (9-3) and the Marshall Thundering Herd (8-4) Monday afternoon at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL. UCF had not lost in the regular season over the past two seasons before this one, but the Knights just missed out on winning the AAC East Division even though they were the preseason favorite to be in their 3rd straight New Year’s Day bowl.
Marshall similarly fell short by missing out on the Conference USA championship after being a preseason favorite as well. Nevertheless, the Herd thundered on down the stretch by winning six of their last seven games.
In America, we are so bad that we actually cut our lawns with mowers that now resemble SUV’s.

I would of loved to have watched this one, but wasn’t tracking it. Thanks to my ESPN application I was notified prior to kickoff, so I got notifications throughout the game. Definitely knew that UCF would take them. Seems like the program is going downward, being that they took 3 L’s this season.
They had a bunch of injuries this season. Yesterday, they were at full strength and put 48 on the board.
Marshall must be good. Never really watched one of their games, but was well tuned into their rivalry between the Mountaineers, thanks to Randy Moss
Yeah, they used to beat up on UCF when they were both in C-USA and before UCF built their stadium in Orlando.
The tides have changed. Sucks for Marshall because none wants to go there unless they grew up nearby.
