By 2014 this city was named the capital of world murders. In the period prior to 2014-2015, there was the highest number of murders per capita and the highest number of murders in terms of quantity in general. There are killed 10 people every day, three of them in San Pedro Sula. It’s really scary figures, with only 9 million people living in Honduras, and only two or three people are killed every day in San Pedro Sula.
