The Rolling after the conclusion of their tour of European lands len 1973, the group got into the recording of their next album. To do this, they moved in mid-November to Musicland Studios in Munich, Germany. The production was run by Jagger and Richards (under the pseudonym of “The Glimmer Twins”), but it was in Jagger who relied the creative direction of the material, due to the physical state of Richards, and the problems of drug addiction of his Producer Jimmy Miller. His new work called It’s Only Rock’n’Roll was released on October 18, 1974 accompanied by “Is not Too Proud to Beg”. The album counted with the participation of the guitarist of Faces Ronnie Wood in the subject that gives its name to the disc.
