I don’t know what the building is for and I would say no one lives there. It looked neglected.
Meant to say, in New Zealand visiting any beach is free. Legally all the public can go for free.
However, some Maori beaches which are isolated and are few. Lets say it’s best to keep away from unless you have their permission.
Thanks Elenka, you have to be able to get there first. Plus the wood is so rotten it may be quite dangerous.
It seems very good to have a rest in this little house on the beach
