Seen asleep on ‘Tiritiri Matangi Island. They are the native New Zealand owl. They fly without sound. My first sighting was in Rotorua but I didn’t have my camera with me.

Yes, its named “MorePork”. It is the bird call it makes. It comes alive at night time.
