There are many breath-taking places in Yosemite National Park in Northern California. Half-Dome is one of them. It is so named because it looks as if the volcanic dome has had half of it sheared away. In fact, that is exactly what happened.

I had the opportunity to visit Yosemite in 1979. It’s wonderful despite being a bit crowded.
Its beauty is a draw to lots of people, so it doesn’t surprise me.
I would love to visit Yosemite one day, I have a long list.
