Facing northwest (1/4)

List item

It is pretty easy to see just what we were doing when we went to the river. You can see my fishing pole in the picture. The view is to the northwest and to give you some idea of where we are located, part of the mountains that can be seen in the distance are actually in Idaho. As a crow flies, we live about 35-40 miles from Idaho. By road, we are about 75 miles from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. By the way, that city is pronounced core-da-lane.

Oh, I almost forgot, on this outing, Cat wasn’t able to catch any fish, but I pulled in two nice trout. One was about 2 pounds and the other was about a half-pound lighter. Both were brook trout.
