On one side in the US, on the other – in Mexico. El Paso in Texas on one side, and Ciudad Juares in a Mexico on the other. If we look at this place from the air, it would seem that it is one city, but in fact, two cities are designated by the US-Mexican border. On the Mexican side, Juares is much larger, with 2.5 million inhabitants, and because of the fact that it is located at a convenient border point here, it is surrounded by cartel members. Their main task is to ship “goods” to “buyers” to the US. Each year, about 600 people are killed in Juares, but this is done in very cruel ways.
