The Bran Castle is a national monument and a landmark in Romania, and is associated with the Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
Actually, the fortress is a museum displaying art and furniture from the Queen Maria’s reign. The documents releave that Bran Castle was built by Saxons from Kronstadt in Transylvania within the 14th century, as a defense against Otoman Empire’s invassions. In 1920 the castle became the royal residence of the Kindom of Romania.
