Most females of any species will fight aggressively for the lives of their young.
I feel like a mother cat will protect herself before her litter
The mother will always protect its little ones as is the case with every species
but mother swans are notoriously aggressive
The cat here is doing that now. She has let her babies on their own but not before she taught them about life (lol)
