If you refuse to eat meat but want to increase your protein intake, eat avocados. No other fruit contains more protein. One cup of raw avocados contains 3 g. of protein. It also contains a huge amount of dietary fiber; 10.1 grams. Additionally, avocados are high in fat, with 22 g. per cup, yet they are low in carbohydrates; one of the few fruits or vegetables that can make the claim of being low in carbohydrates and high in protein.
