1. I have learned the hard way to beware of what you plant with trees. However, I got some avocados from my avocado tree which is something and I believe I may have one or 2 on it.
   My neighbour told me to spray it with honey water next time it flowers and it will have more fruit.
   It did not fall in the wind.

2. They are gorgeous trees. Such a loss when one falls. Especially if it falls on a fence or building.

   • The teams that dismantles damaged trees also are accessing which tree is likely to fall as well, as well as where to plant another tree.

     • We have some tall pines that have been falling. I think the drought killed them. One almost hit our mobile home. We are fortunate none of our buildings got hit and no one was hurt. I suppose it’s tricky to know where other trees can be safely planted.

3. Thanks Elenka, the Auckland city council planted them, and will fix the damage. The people may have to fix the fence.

4. I hope people have insurance. This will cover the damage without any financial difficulty

5. Wise choice, we don’t often get storms like this here.
