I used to visit the many suburbs of Milwaukee over the years with my grandfather. My Aunt and Uncle lived there as well for a few years. I don’t recall if we ever visited them in Milwaukee. I remember going to their house in Marshfield Wisconsin (North of the Wisconsin Dells), but I don’t recall visiting their house in Milwaukee. I do also recall many times visiting Racine to visit my great aunt and grandmother Andersen who lived in Racine (well just outside Racine).
Racine is the city between Milwaukee and Chicago. On that lakeshore visit, we had lunch at a restaurant, and I do not recall its name. It juts out into the pleasure boat harbor of Milwaukee. We got to sit indoors (it was pretty cold that day) right on the water. Well, right by the window, that was on the deck that was by the water. Still, we were pretty close to the water. We had a relaxing and enjoyable lunch.
Before lunch we wandered around, there are a maritime museum and the pleasure craft harbor plus a wonderful performing arts theater and a museum. We decided not to go into any of those, due to time. We were a little short on time, as we did have to be at the reunion around 4 pm. But we did wander around, and I took, as always a few pictures. Ok, I took more than a few pictures. I took a lot of pictures. I can’t help it. Once I went to digital cameras, the number of pictures increased!
