Southbound Metra Commuter Train at the Morton Grove Station – Black & White Version (2019-03-16 13-52-10a)
The photo was taken at the Morton Grove Metra Station in Morton Grove, Illinois (Cook County). It is on the Milwaukee District-North line.
I used a Nikon Coolpix P7700 camera to take the photo. Editing and black and white conversion was done using ACDSee Ultimate 2019. I added +0.32 ev to the exposure and adjusted the Light EQ. Then I increased the contrast, clarity and saturation and adjusted the levels. Next I added the dehaze filter and converted the image to black and white.

Thank you. it’s not always easy to photograph moving trains. (This one was pulling out of the station when I took the photo.) They usually require some cropping but I hit the button at just the right time on this one. No cropping was required.
It was moving but not very fast.
