My favorite creation of the day for yesterday: # 2751 “North Dakota Wonderland”. You don’t tend to look for beauty in North Dakota, but it is surprising what you can find when you look for it.
This is based on a photo I took from a rest stop on Interstate 94 near Theodore Roosevelt State Park. The rest stop is named “Painted Canyon” and you can see why.
Sure, there is beauty everywhere, you just need to look closely at times 🙂 … throughout my travels in the US, every state has (sometimes hidden) beautiful places. Painted Canyon, great photo, Joel
I have never visited the state but I have ancestors who lived in the Dakotas. I always thought of it as a pretty place. I don’t really know what I’d expect to see there.
Super!
