Last View of Lovely Lower Regis Lake, Adirondacks

My favorite place at Paul Smith’s College in the Northern Adirondacks is out at the peninsular point that overlooks Lower Saint Regis Lake.  The point is high up with great views of the lake and the college and the water comes up to the huge granite boulders that guard the shoreline. The top of the hill that is on the center of the peninsula is full of huge tall and sometimes twisted white pine trees and the foliage at your feet are mostly blueberry bushes that produce well.
