I was delighted to go inside Poplar Forest and find they do allow photography inside (without flash). We had just toured Monticello where no cameras were allowed inside at all. Much of the walls inside Jefferson’s Poplar Forest were bare. This was due to a fire earlier that wiped out most of the original woodwork, doors and moldings in the house. It is slowly being restored and shows how the house was built in detail as you can see down to the original bricks.
Beautiful View from Inside , awesome
I read your posts about this house, I like it very much. The house is beautiful.
