360 Day Photography Challenge – Day 7 for me Devonport

This is taken from Devonport on Auckland’s North Shore. It shows Mt Eden on the other side of the water. Many ships come past this wharf to Auckland’s Central Business District to the Ports of Auckland. They bring cargo or else are cruise ships with people.

In the summer when the tide is right, some people may even jump off this wharf. However, they often jump off the wharf on the left, Torpedo Bay.

Devonport is a beautiful town and is well worth a visit. Full of beautiful villas and odd shops. Plus there is the Devonport Ferry nearby that will take passengers to Auckland city business district, to the Ferry buildings or else pick up passengers for another destination.

This is not the wharf for picking up passengers. That will be in another post.
