For me personally, bull riding is very exciting. My husband swears I love it just because of the music they play. (I have to admit that does help some.) The chaps they wear are often very ornate and flashy. One rider told me that the bull jumps harder and better because of that motion. I guess he could be right, he is a professional bull rider.
The rules are similar to other riding events. The heels have to be above the shoulder of the bull on the first jump out. The rider’s free hand can not touch the bull. Eight seconds doesn’t seem like a long time when you are sitting in the stands, but I am told it is forever on a bull. Who am I to argue?
