Who is Charles Darwin and Why Are We Celebrating?

I am not sure about you, but I search every day to find something good to celebrate and I strive to learn something new every day.  I really didn’t know a lot about Charles Darwin, so I spent my early morning hours learning a little bit about who he was and why It might be a good day to celebrate his work.

This video seemed like a fairly quick explanation of his theory.

He was born on February 12th, 1809. It would be appropriate to say he was a pioneer in the field of science and his birthdate would be a great day to remember his work.

I want to share this quote because it inspires me. It reminds me that life waits for no one and the world is changing every day. If you choose to embrace the changes you will find contentment and happiness will be easier to identify.

“It is not the strongest of the species that survives, not the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change.”

—Charles Darwin

I hope you learned something new or were reminded of something you learned long ago.
