Tis the Season for Leaves to Fall

That also means it’s the season when people need to get those leaves off all the places they may drop. As you can see in the photo above, the leaves don’t always make it to the ground. Sometimes they fall on other plants, as they have fallen on this hedge of juniper and rosemary. If you look carefully, you may even see the rosemary in bloom. I hope you will vote for your favorite picture of the fallen autumn leaves.

#1 Sycamore Leaves Falling from Tree to Strip Between Neighboring Homes

Sorry about the garbage cans. I couldn't get them out of the photo without removing more of the tree, and I didn't want to do that. Besides, if we get rid of the green waste bins, where will the home owners put the leaves after they rake them up? Like this photo best? Please vote it up.

#2 Sycamore Leaves Know How to Clutter a Yard and Everything Around It.

The sycamore tree has covered the owner's lawn, his driveway, the sidewalk, and the gutter beside the curb in the street. It doesn't seem to bother the lady walking her dogs, but someone will have to clean these leaves up. Is this the photo you want to vote up?

#3 Fallen Leaves Make More Gardening Work for Me

My neighbor's sycamore tree has supplied the leaves the wind has blown all over my garden. Here they nestle between the gazanias in bloom on the left, the black sage in back, and the Lamb's Ears on the right. They are also everywhere else in my flower beds and the gardener quit last month. I guess that means it's my job to get rid of these. Do you like this photo? If so, please vote it up.

#4 Sycamore Leaves Have Fallen on Juniper and Rosemary Plants below the Tree.

They have also landed on the homeowner's front lawn and the surrounding sidewalks, but I can only show you one view, and I chose this one. Like it? Vote it up.

#7 Man Raking a Row of Leaves

For once we can't blame the sycamore trees for this pile. I'm not sure what this tree is, but it doesn't have the right leave shape for a sycamore. Can you identify it?
